Construction

About

Our Construction courses are delivered in excellent workshop environments, allowing you to experience your chosen trade as you would in the industry. Construction courses are based at the Gravesend Campus.

We have strong business links with local employers and a great record for getting our students on to Apprenticeships, with reputable companies. Our staff are all industry qualified and use their experience to give you the best support and start to your future.

Although our focus is to give you the best practical education, we also love a competition. Throughout the year there will be opportunities for you to compete against other students in the College, which can lead to you competing against students at other Colleges locally, nationally and event globally!

Our full-time provision comprises of Awards, Certificates and Diplomas at various levels in Carpentry, Joinery, Brickwork, Multi Trades and Painting and Decorating. The prime qualification offered is the Construction Skills Trade Diploma, which links directly to a National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) once a student gains employment in any of the trade areas.

We offer a Basic Construction Skills course – also known as Multi Trades, which is suitable if you are uncertain as to which route to take, or would like a broader understanding of the different trade areas.
