Creative Media

About

Miskin Media offers four distinct pathways set within a professional environment to enable you to develop your career within the creative media industry.

Our Level 3 pathways are two years courses where you will specifically focus on one of the following:

Creative Media Production Broadcast and Communications for those interested in presenting, radio, journalism and creative writing.

Creative Media Production TV & Film covers all the crew and production roles like filmmaker, director, or camera operator within the TV and Film industry.

Motion Graphics and Animation (MGA) will see you develop your skills and knowledge creating and producing 2D/3D Animation and the expanding areas of Motion Graphics.

Don’t worry if you don’t reach the qualification requirements for the Level 3 pathway of your choice. We also offer a one year Level 2 media course, where you will experience and develop skills across TV & film productions, animations, creative writing and radio & audio podcasts.
You will be working with a highly experienced team of industry practitioners, with real clients, in a fast-paced dynamic and exciting environment.

Our projects and management processes give you the opportunity to develop skills with a wide variety of industry standard software. These will enable you to develop a digital portfolio which will improve and benefit your chances of gaining work in the relevant industries or going to university in the future.

As well as your own media team, you could have the opportunity to work alongside the other Miskin Media pathways, the wider arts and creative industries department and private clients. These provide you with a wider appreciation of the demands of the creative media industry. The pathways offered by the Miskin Media department begin by teaching you the basic skill level and gradually working to an advanced professional level.
