Hairdressing and Miskin Make Up & Beauty
Studying Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy with us, allows you to develop your skills and experience in our fabulous purpose-built Hair and Beauty salons, Inspirations Hair Salons and Miskin Make Up and Spa. Our lecturers are highly qualified Hairdressers and Beauty Therapists, with a wealth of industry knowledge and experience, including salon ownership.
You will be taught everything from basic to advanced Hairdressing or Beauty Therapy. We believe that your skills and knowledge will advance notably by learning in a practical environment. You will gain your practical experience through working with real clients, in the College’s Salons, which contain industry standard facilities.
Although our courses are based on practical experience, there is still an element of theory work that will need to be completed, in order to meet the standards of the qualification.
We've just opened brand new Inspirations Hair Salons at Gravesend Campus, with state of the art facilities and equipment in the 'Pure Inspirations' and 'Creative Inspirations' Salons.
Meanwhile at Dartford Campus a brand new Make Up Studio and a Spa with steam room and sauna have been added to the existing salons, giving students the chance to learn in modern and true-to-industry environment.
From September 2017, Hairdressing will be offered at our unique salons at the Gravesend campus, and Make Up and Beauty within the new Miskin Spa at Dartford only.
Our Salons and Studios are open to the general public, on most week days and selected evenings offering a comprehensive range of Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy treatments, which are provided by our students as part of their training.
