If you have finished College are you employed or what are you are currently doing? How did NKC help you get there?
I have not finished college but I have a job in a bakery which helps me improve my customer service skills. I felt confident enough to apply for the job because of the work experience NKC provided. For example we went to Cheltenham Gold Cup festival and did some waitressing there, as well as wok in the production kitchen/.
What do you enjoy most about your course?
I enjoy the course because it has helped me develop skills needed in the industry that I would like to work in. The best part about the course is the amazing kitchens that I get to use, whether practicing my skills in the training kitchen or cooking for customers in the production kitchen.
Would you recommend the course?
I would recommend the course because it would help someone develop all the skills that are needed in the industry such as time management and customer services skills.
What is the best part of the course?
Being able to cook for customers and using the skills that we have learnt in the production kitchen.
What is the teaching like?
The teaching is of a very high standard and will help guide you through your course.
What would you like to do in the future?
I love cooking and would one day like to be a professional pastry chef, maybe in my own restaurant.
