Our new manufacturing facility in Northfleet, Kent, is an investment  in world-class, technologically-driven manufacturing capability, which  will help the Berkeley Group create high-quality, high-performance  and high comfort homes.


This is an opportunity to join an exciting new business within the Berkeley Group at an early stage of the project - to produce volumetric modules which are specifically designed and engineered to create high performing, high quality and comfortable homes for people to enjoy living in. You will be employed on a full-time, permanent basis as part of Berkeley Modular.
As an apprentice you will follow a fully funded three year course of study to a Level 3 qualification.

The course of study will comprise the following subject matter:

• Year 1 – Digital Design / CAD / IT Literacy / Manufacturing & Construction Principles
• Year 2 – BIM / Engineering / Commercial / Production
• Year 3 – Computer Aided Engineering / Engineering /  Projects / Manufacturing
Our aspiration is to create exciting new career opportunities in the offsite housing sector. Accordingly, part of the curriculum for the apprenticeship programme will involve a residential placement with Dudley College to learn the basics of digital design and its importance in manufacturing.

Entry requirements (Skills and Qualifications):

• Minimum entry age to be 18 years old by 31 August 2019
• Minimum of 5 GCSEs at Level 5 or above
• Specifically GCSE Level 6 in Mathematics, English and a Science
• Work experience
• Good communication skills
• Good organisational skills
• Good IT skills
