Suitable for those who wish to pursue a career in the secretarial or administrative fields. This course also enables students to progress on to higher level secretarial / administrative / business courses.
The OCR Level 2 Diploma in Administration gives students an opportunity to learn secretarial skills such as: Touch Typing, Text Processing, Word Processing, Audio Typing, Business Presentations and Mail Merge. These subjects are tested by means of an external examination.
Students also learn about theoretical and practical business administration subjects such as: Working in Business and Administration; Written Business Communication; Organising Meetings; Financial Transactions and Diary Systems. Course assignments are completed for these subjects.
In addition, students also study subjects such as: Spreadsheets; Databases; e-Publications and Integrated documents.
Students also undertake either GCSE or Functional Skills in English and Maths.

3 GCSE Grade A*-C, including English Language.
