AAT Foundation Certificate Accounting (Full Cost)

This course is ideal if you want to develop the skills and knowledge needed to work in finance.

The course runs during the day (currently Thursday) or over two evenings per week (Tuesday and Thursday).

The Level 2 Certificate in Accounting covers a range of basic accounting practices and techniques, from costing and double-entry bookkeeping to computerised accounts:

- Processing bookkeeping transactions
- Control accounts, journals and the banking system
- Working effectively in Accounting and Finance
- Basic Costing
- Computerised Accounting

HOW TO APPLY:

To apply for the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting part-time course, you do not need to complete the standard NKC application form, you just need to come along to the 'Part-Time' Open Enrolments, which are during the first week of September. To find out more, please call us on: 0800 074 1447.

AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate in Accounting

Entry requirements?

No formal entry requirement for adult lessons, however, must have good numeracy and literacy skills. Under 19 students must have 5 A*-C GCSES including; English and Mathematics.

What progression options will I have?

AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting, or junior level employment in Accountancy or Finance.

Tuition Fees:

All ages - £1200

Exam Fees (payable by all aged 19 and over): £210
Registration fees payable direct to AAT by all students
Material Fee £60

Assessment is by a combination of coursework and external computer-based examinations.
