Do you dream of setting up your own company, managing a department in a large corporation, or perhaps growing an existing business? If so, you will need the core skills a Business course can offer you. Whatever your dream, we will help you to develop a career path for a variety of business sectors, further study or university. 

You will learn about how businesses are created and structured and the impact of the wider world on business success. We will help you learn the skills and qualities required to work effectively in a business environment such as meeting deadlines, teamwork, budgeting, project management and marketing. 

For Level 3 learners, there will be an opportunity to apply for an internship with the ‘Career Ready’ programme. Successful learners can undertake a short, paid internship at a variety of well-established companies, most of which are situated in London.


Our Finance courses are perfect for anyone wishing to study accounting and finance and cover all the core accountancy skills. 

We have a high achievement rate and progression into employment, with extensive recognition amongst employers. Qualified staff have first-hand industry knowledge, offering a mature learning environment where students are valued. 

You will be introduced to basic accountancy principles and techniques from costing and double-entry bookkeeping to computerised accounts in readiness for you to progress into employment in such roles as payroll administrator or accounts assistant.  You will also be introduced to payroll systems, spreadsheet software and banking systems and you will develop your communication skills throughout. 

After completion of our AAT Accountancy courses, many of our students secure excellent posts with local and national accountancy firms and further their careers by undertaking one of our part-time courses to continue your professional development alongside employment. 

Accountancy apprenticeships are also available at Levels 2 and 3.

What will I learn? 

In addition to your main qualification you will learn essential business and employment related skills such as; meeting deadlines, working as a team, interpersonal communication, negotiating skills and many more.  Our business and accountancy courses are designed to prepare you for the world of work and enable you to progress in your future career development. 


What qualification will I gain? 

Depending on the course you choose you can gain AAT Level 2, 3 and 4 in Accounting. A BTEC Level 2 Diploma in Business and a BTEC Level 3 Subsidiary/ Extended Diploma in Business. CILEx Level 3 Certificate/Diploma in Law and Practice, the CILEx Level 6 Professional Higher Diploma in Law and Practice. What progression options will I have? 

With our courses you are able to progress onto employment within the business, finance or retail sectors. Alternatively you can continue onto a university programme.

What costs are involved? 

Full-time further education courses are free for students aged 16-18, you may have to pay some or all of your fees if you are aged 19 plus, but please see our Student Finance page for further information. If you are enrolling on a part-time or higher education course, fees are applicable. 

Entry requirements? 

If you are enrolling on a Level 2 course you will need relevant GCSE qualifications, if higher than a Level 3, in most cases, you will need the Level below to move up. Please see individual course descriptions for accurate information.
