The Jordan Dawes Trophy Tournament

1st April 2019

On Friday 29th March we hosted the “Jordan Dawes Trophy” tournament where our staff and Football Academy students competed in a charity football match to honour Jordan Dawes.

Our wonderful student, Jordan Dawes, sadly passed away on Friday 22nd February after a short illness. Jordan was a former Charlton youth player and represented Kent Football United as a goalkeeper. There has been an overwhelming outpouring of support from around the footballing world to recognise the life of an extraordinary young woman.

The “Jordan Dawes Trophy” tournament was held at our Dartford Campus where the funds raised from the day are going towards Ellenor Hospice, who helped to make Jordan Dawes final hours comfortable. There was plenty of half-time activities for everyone at the event to get involved in and help show their support.

Collectively everyone has raised approximately £2000, which is incredible, and we wanted to say thank you to everyone who came along to the event and kindly donated.
