During my time at North Kent College the teaching staff were really supportive, the learning materials were fantastic and they offered additional support which was very beneficial.
The college prepared me for the university application process which included a lot of research of my chosen degree at a multitude of universities across the country. This prepared me for the road ahead. Additionally, my time at NKC also gave me confidence in myself and my ability to learn new skills and thrive in an education setting.
I am currently in my second year at university and hoping to graduate next year. After graduation I plan to secure a job within my local ambulance trust and continue to learn within my job role.
I spent a lot of time studying subjects that I didn’t realise would be relevant to me in my university degree. I am so thankful I was provided with such a wealth of information. Although I didn’t understand it at the time, it has helped me immensely and it gave me confidence to learn after being out of education for a number of years.
