Applying for a Full Time Further Education Course
Once you've decided on a course that you'd like to do, please complete our online application form located on the course you are interested in. You can choose more than one course, but we will always work on your primary choice first.
We do also have paper application forms which can be sent out to you or completed at our on-site events.
Applying for a Full-time Higher Education course
All applications for full-time higher education courses need to be made through UCAS. You can still apply through UCAS after 26th January 2022 deadline, but any offers will be dependent on the number of spaces available.
At which campus will my course be delivered?
We have three campuses Dartford, Gravesend and Tonbridge- if you are not sure where the course is running, then visit our ‘Course Explorer’ page on our website- where the location of the course will be listed.
Are there fees for my course?
Full-time Further Education students under the age of 19 on August 31st do not pay a tuition fee, but may have to contribute to course costs, which could be for kit, equipment or materials. Students over the age of 19 may have to pay a tuition fee, however, this will depend on the course level and financial circumstances.
Higher Education students have to pay all tuition fees at enrolment, but may be eligible to apply for a Tuition Fee loan or maintenance loan to cover living costs from Student Finance England check here for more details.
What happens after you submit your application form? (Further Education)
Once you have applied you will receive a letter detailing a time and date for an interview and what you will need to bring with you. Your interview letter is usually sent within approximately 2 weeks of receiving your application form.
After your interview, you will receive a letter from us detailing an offer. Your offer ultimately depends on your GCSE results, which you will need to bring with you to enrolment. We offer courses that start at entry level, so if you don’t quite make the grades you expected, don’t worry, there’ll still be options for you. Or alternatively if you get better grades than expected we’ll look at all the options for you. You will receive a letter in the summer inviting you to enrol during August on your course with a specific date and time. Please bring your GCSE results with you to enrolment.
