Kent & Medway Skills Bus

We will be out and about around the County over the next few weeks on board the Kent and Medway Skills bus, promoting three new projects that are being delivered by North Kent College, Mid Kent College and East Kent College. All of these are funded by the Local Skills Improvement Fund (LSIF).

The three projects are:

• A Health and Care Project focusing on digital skills and innovation in the sector, which will see assistive technology and demonstration spaces and three training/simulation suites built across the three colleges.
• The creation of Net Zero Construction Skills Centre at MidKent College to provide practical retrofit training in green energy, insulation and other green skills and investment in green energy equipment and training rigs at East Kent College and North Kent College.
• An Engineering and Manufacturing Project which will support employers to train their existing and future workforce in higher technical and digital skills needed by modern manufacturing businesses.    

The bus will be on the road from Monday 5 February to Friday 15 March and is being manned by staff from each College on different days and at different locations. There will be the chance to find out about these innovative new projects and talk to staff about studying at your local college.
