Our Level 2 Graphic Design course offers aspiring designers an exploration of various digital and traditional processes to develop their skills across multiple disciplines. The course will cover key topics including typography, digital illustration, vector graphics, printmaking, zine creation and animation. Students will gain hands-on experience using industry-standard software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign, as well as explore traditional illustration techniques such as sketching and drawing. Throughout the course, you will engage in a series of projects that culminate in a final portfolio centred around a chosen theme and specialism. In addition to creative development, our course includes functional and employability skills training to support your overall progress. You will have access to the latest standard software and equipment, working alongside tutors who are professionals in their respective fields. This provides a unique opportunity to learn in a professional environment, distinct from a traditional school setting, and to deepen your understanding of the graphic design and illustration industry. Our Education Programme also offers tailored support to enhance your English and maths skills, based on your GCSE results upon entry, ensuring you are well-prepared for future academic and career opportunities.
