Construction

About

Our Construction courses are delivered in excellent workshop environments, allowing you to experience your chosen trade as you would in the industry. Construction courses are all based at our Gravesend Campus, where we have dedicated facilities for each of the Brickwork, Painting and Decorating, and Carpentry trades.

We have strong business links with local employers, businesses and builders merchants. We have a great record for getting our students on to apprenticeships with reputable companies. Our staff are all from industry, highly qualified, and use their experience to give you the best support and start to your future.

Although our focus is to give you the best practical education, we also love a competition, throughout the year there will be opportunities for you to compete against other students at the college, which can lead to you competing against students at other colleges locally, nationally and even globally.

Within our dedicated course areas, our specialist tutors will prepare you for life as a skilled trades-person, whether employed or self-employed running your own business.

Our facilities are just like real work places, where you will construct buildings, walls and a variety of structures, in your chosen trade of brick or wood, or learn painting and decorating techniques on a number of surfaces.
