This course is based on an industrial model via our production company, Miskin Music.
Trainee producers will work in a vibrant studio and live environment, composing and recording productions in a range of styles.
Trainees will also develop and refine an online portfolio/personal website, increasingly seen as a vital resource for progression either into employment, or our specialist Level 3 programmes in music or music technology. A recognition and understanding of career paths and employment opportunities are embedded in our work, offering trainees an introduction to music recording techniques, composition, as well as participation in live performances.
This Study Programme includes opportunities for you to develop your English and Maths skills as required. You may be expected to complete either functional skills or GCSE qualifications as part of your course depending on your GCSE results.
