I’m passionate about helping the next generation succeed and proud to contribute to shaping future professionals in this dynamic industry.

I began my career in Beauty Therapy at 16, training at college and gaining experience across various areas of the industry. Over the years, I worked with and managed prestigious skincare and makeup brands, such as YSL Beaute, SkinCeuticals and Medik8, progressing from Junior Therapist to Head Therapist and Beauty Manager in both Day Spas and Aesthetic Clinics.

An exciting opportunity allowed me to open my own Beauty and Aesthetic Clinic, where I specialised in advanced facial treatments and Dr Vodder Manual Lymphatic Drainage, supporting patients post-cosmetic surgery. After achieving what I had set out to do, I felt ready for a new challenge; the natural next step was to share my knowledge through teaching and give something back to the industry.

I was offered the chance to lecture at NKC and complete a Further Education qualification, supported by the Teaching and Learning team. Balancing full-time teaching with study, I completed the qualification in just 14 months. The structured sessions, live observations, and collaborative support from colleagues made the journey both manageable and rewarding.

This experience has given me confidence to explore new teaching methods, applying theories and techniques to engage and inspire learners. Teaching is fast-paced and challenging, but seeing students grow and become industry-ready is incredibly fulfilling.
