LEVEL 2 AND LEVEL 3 MOTORSPORT
Jacob studied the L2 and L3 Motorsport qualification and, after successfully completing the course, gained a position with the McLaren Formula One team.
Jacob’s role is based in the McLaren Technology Centre, working as a technician in the composites department. Such items as the halo, which has been responsible in saving many drivers lives, are made by Jacob and the team with whom he works.
McLaren is now the second most successful Formula One Team behind Ferrari, with 10 World Championships and have won the top accolade for the last two years.
McLaren as an employer, is keen to encourage staff to deliver career talks where they were previously educated, so we look forward to arranging for Jacob to visit as a guest speaker very soon!
