Thank you for your application for our Technical Theatre course here at The Miskin Theatre, North Kent College. You have been invited to attend an interview and we ask that you report to North Kent College Reception Dartford Campus for 10am.
You will be shown around the theatre’s production facilities and be able to talk about all aspects of the course that interest you before an informal interview with the technical theatre lecturers. You will be finished by approximately 12pm. Please note, parents/guardians/friends will not be able to stay on site after registration.
We ask you to complete the tasks below and bring them with you to your interview:
- A written review of a theatre production you have seen.
- A design, drawing or a small prop or set item from a production of your choice.
- Level 4 applicants only will also need to write formal statement stating reasons for your application to the course.
Please bring with you your latest school report. You are also encouraged to bring any work, such as photographs or a portfolio that you feel may support your application, but this is not compulsory.
If you have any learning difficulties or require learning support, it is important that you let us know when you accept your interview so that the right measures can be taken to support you. If you have an EHCP please bring this along with you.
