Specialists in refrigeration, air-conditioning, F-Gas and ammonia training and assessments
With over 30 years' experience, the Hall Training Centre at North Kent College is one of only a handful of City & Guilds approved F-Gas specialist refrigeration training centres in the UK.
Our range of training courses have been structured to meet the ever increasing demands on industry to meet safety, environmental and legal requirements regarding installation, commissioning, service and maintenance of refrigeration, air-conditioning and heat pump systems.
Training courses are designed for a variety of commercial, industrial and marine applications and have been designed to minimise engineer's time away from the workplace, whilst meeting all the legal and health and safety obligations of the industry. With a largely practical content, they range in duration from two days to ten days, to meet the needs of the sector and are delivered from our extensive workshops in Gravesend or on your own site.
We are one of the country’s leading training and assessment centres for both:
At Hall Training Centre we retain our high standards in refrigeration and air-conditioning training by offering small class sizes giving greater personal contact time between individual students and the trainer.
All of our training programmes can be delivered either at the Hall Training Centre workshops, which includes a fully operational industrial ammonia plant, or on your own site. These programmes can be delivered to the published programmes or they can be customised to individual client requirements.
Time-served industry-experienced tutors
All our tutors are time-served engineers who are accredited vocational assessors and verifiers (TDLB D32/D33 & D34) to ensure the quality of both training and assessment.
