We are well and truly into the festive season, and we have plenty going on in and around the College in December in the build up to Christmas…
Thursday 7 December: Christmas Jumper Day
Staff and students are being encouraged to get festive on Thursday 7 December and celebrate Christmas Jumper Day.
All proceeds (it costs £2 to take part), will go to Save the Children.
Thursday 7 December to Saturday 16 December: Miskin Theatre Dartford, Christmas Show
Our Theatre students will be performing Mary Poppins Jr as their Christmas show this year.
Based on the stories of PL Travers and the Walt Disney film, it runs from 7 December to 16 December, with tickets costing £12.50 for adults and concessionary tickets at £8.50.

Tuesday 12 December: Student Performance at Cassidy’s, Tunbridge Wells
Pop along to Cassidy’s Freehouse in Tunbridge Wells on Tuesday 12 December from 6pm and you will catch a Miskin Music Showcase from our Music students.
Wednesday 13 December and Thursday 14 December: The Wind in the Willows, Miskin Theatre in Tonbridge
Our Theatre students will be performing an adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s ‘The Wind in the Willows’ at the Miskin Theatre at our Tonbridge Campus. The performances will start at 7.30pm and tickets cost £10 for adults of £8 for concessions.
Wednesday 13 December: Student Union Christmas Event
Our Tonbridge Student Union is a running free events for staff and students with Christmas themed music, craft workshops and sweet treats all on offer!
Wednesday 13 December: Dartford Christmas Fair
A range of stalls offering food, drinks and plenty of fun will be on offer on Wednesday 13 December when we hold our Dartford Christmas Fair.
Some of the stalls and games include Santas Grotto, Chocolate Tombola, Candles and Wax Melts, Tin Can Alley, Hook-A-Duck and Pie the Teacher.
All proceeds are being donated to We Are Beams, a Kent based charity that supports disabled children and young people.
Christmas Tree Competition
Departments are competing against each other for the prestigious title of North Kent College’s best Christmas Tree!
Santa’s Subjects
Our Marketing Team are visiting subject areas, asking staff and students to show off their Christmas spirit by wearing Christmas hats and sharing some Christmassy facts relating to the College.
Restaurant Festive Menus
Make a reservation at The Gallery restaurant at our Gravesend campus or The View at our Tonbridge campus and try out the new festive menus.
