Did you know Sunday 1 October is National Hair Day?
National Hair Day celebrates the beauty, diversity and importance of hair, and everything that is related to it, from hair products to the thousands of hairdressers and barbers across the globe.
And hair is something we are very passionate about here at North Kent College as we have hairdressing salons at our Tonbridge, Dartford and Gravesend campuses.
Not only that, they are Lee Stafford affiliate academies and we were recently named by the Lee Stafford Education Foundation as its Education College of the Year.
A range of hairdressing and barbering courses are offered with students taught all the skills to master what celebrity hairdresser Lee Stafford calls the ‘Michelin standard’ of hairdressing.
Students learn in a state-of-the-art hairdressing salon, with all the latest equipment and products, fully supported by a team of experienced hairdressers and barbers.
The three salons are also open to the general public most weekdays, and on selected evenings, with students providing all of the services, from working on the reception desk to implementing the latest styles and trends, at a fraction of the cost.
