Today (Tuesday 15 April) marks World Art Day, a global celebration of the arts, launched by the International Association of Art (IAA) in honour of Leonardo da Vinci’s birthday.
The day is all about recognising the importance of creativity in society and highlighting the ways in which art can inspire, educate, and bring people together across cultures and generations.
Whether it’s painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art, or photography, art is a powerful means of self-expression and plays an essential role in our daily lives and today is a day to celebrate that!
North Kent College offers a number of Art courses at a variety of levels. Students benefit from top class facilities including fully equipped workshops/studio spaces, a screen-printing workshop and a ceramic kiln. All courses are taught by experienced and professional artists with a diverse skillset.
