Male having hair cut by female student

Today (25 June), as we celebrate National Hairdressers Day, the chances are you’ve walked past a bright, bubble-gum pink bottle of shampoo in the supermarket with a label proclaiming one of the UK’s most acclaimed hairdressers – Lee Stafford.

This is, of course, the eponymous brand of the renowned award-winning celebrity hair stylist and salon owner himself. The sentiment of the brand, that personal style and confidence are intertwined, has made his products hard to ignore.

North Kent College is lucky enough to be in partnership with Lee Stafford, and our Lee Stafford Academies at our Dartford, Gravesend, and Tonbridge campuses allow students to be technically trained in accordance with the leading style and approach to hair.

Not only that we were declared the Education College of the Year by the Lee Stafford Education Foundation, so students who enrol on the Hairdressing and Barbering course will access only the best guidance and teaching from experienced professionals.

Students learn in a commercial salon, open to the public, using industry brands such as Revlon, Redken and Lee Stafford products, fully supported by a team of experienced hairdressers and barbers who have achieved Master Trainer Status by Lee Stafford and his team.

The three salons are open most weekdays, and on selected evenings, to the general public with students providing all of the services, from working on the reception desk to implementing the latest styles and trends, at a fraction of the cost.
