Businesses across Kent, London and the South East are being encouraged to offer industry placements to our students, including those enrolled on our new T Level Management and Administration (Business) course.
Industry placements form a key part of T Levels, which are two-year qualifications combining classroom learning with at least 45 days of workplace experience. Developed with employers, the courses aim to equip students with practical skills aligned to industry needs.
We are currently seeking placement opportunities in Accounting, Education and Early Years, Health (Adult Nursing), Civil Engineering, Digital Software Development and Management and Administration.
For employers, placements provide an opportunity to engage with emerging talent while supporting the development of future skills in the local economy. Students can contribute to projects and gain valuable workplace experience, while staff involved in mentoring often develop coaching and leadership skills.
The College works with a range of organisations across the region, including NHS Trusts, Willmott Dixon, local authorities, schools and independent businesses.
Trisha Rose, our T Level and Industry Placement Coordinator, said: “Industry placements give students the opportunity to apply their learning in a real-world environment while helping employers develop their future talent pipeline. We regularly hear from businesses that they value the fresh perspectives and enthusiasm students bring to their teams.”
Our Industry Placements Team supports employers throughout the process, including candidate matching, interview arrangements and placement reviews, while students complete pre-employment preparation before beginning their placements.
