If you want to go to University in 2024, then the deadline for undergraduate university applications is fast approaching.
In fact, applications must be completed by 31 January 2024 so if there is a course you have your eye on, then you really need to apply as soon as possible.
In brief:
- Find the courses and universities you wish to apply for.
- Fill in your details, qualifications and course choices.
- Submit a personal statement demonstrating your desire to study the course and why you feel you are a good fit.
- Include your reference and pay your application fee.
Universities and colleges do not have to consider applications received after the deadline, although you may still be considered if there are spaces remaining on the course after the on-time applications have been considered.
However we would recommend applying as soon as possible to gain a space on your preferred course. The sooner you apply the sooner you will start to receive offers from universities!
Higher Education programmes have different entry requirements that are usually a mix of qualifications, subjects, and exam grades. It is a good idea to apply for a selection of courses with a mix of higher and lower entry requirements so that you have a backup option.
When you search courses on UCAS, you should check the entry requirements so that you apply for courses that you have a good chance of getting a place on.
