Bailey Kenchington, North Kent College, second year Technical Theatre student, has recently completed a work placement for BGI Supplies, a professional film company, in their props house making items for an upcoming project. The placement was originally one week long, however due to Bailey’s hard work and performance the work placement got extended for another week.
Soapbox Stars is set to take place on Saturday, June 25, and will see over 45 karts made up of local businesses and schools, go head-to-head down a hair-raising track to raise money for local charities.
Elizabeth Rosendale has been awarded the Silver Medal for Health & Social Care in the World Skills National finals. Elizabeth was the only student representing the Southeast in the finals and will be North Kent College’s first ever National World Skills medallist!
RuPaul's Drag Race was recently named the top competition program at the 2021 Emmys and RuPaul put twelve drag queens through their paces over 10 weeks before crowning the third UK's Next Drag Race Superstar as Krystal Versace AKA Luke Fenn.
North Kent College incorporating Hadlow College will be part of a Chamber of Commerce and Further Education partnership which has been appointed as one of eight national trailblazers by the Government.
