North Kent College Level 3 Year 1 Business students from both Dartford and Tonbridge campuses visited the University of Kent to learn more about university life and the Business School in particular.
North Kent College Travel & Tourism, Events & Hospitality and Business students from Dartford and Tonbridge campuses had the opportunity to visit New York as part of their studies.
Graphic Design student, Caitlin Parry, has recently been accepted into a prestigious university to study Graphic Design after college. Caitlin is currently in the second year of her Level 3 Diploma in Graphics and Illustration course at our Tonbridge campus.
The Institute of Carpenters was established in 1890, to help maintain standards and skills at a time when traditional skills were being lost. Over a century later the company are still committed to upholding the highest standard of historic craft.
In February students from multiple subject areas got the chance to visit Disneyland Paris, one of Disney’s major theme parks, to learn more about the company.
North Kent College Level 3, Fashion students, recently visited AllSaints head offices in London, Shoreditch for a tour around the facilities and insightful talks from the Design and Atelier teams to discuss how the industry works.
Kirsty started her Miskin journey by training in Dance before moving to Acting and graduating in 2008, Kirsty says “I graduated The Miskin nearly 15 years ago and still to this day am I supported and loved by the family. Everyone keeps in contact. I have even been back a few times to direct and work at The Miskin. These guys taught me my craft and discipline and I am always forever grateful to them. “
This year the Sports Department at North Kent College hosted the very first Sports Careers Fair for students across the College. The fair took place in the Osterberg Sports Hall at our Dartford Campus in February.
To mark the opening of the new hairdressing academy, North Kent College hosted a VIP launch event with Lee Stafford, celebrity hairdresser, on Monday 6th March at their Brook Street campus. The event was attended by potential students and applicants who are interested in hairdressing and many local salons and barbers.
