Dance and Musical Theatre

The Miskin Theatre has a unique and pioneering approach to dance and musical theatre training. The Dance and Musical Theatre courses give dancers and performers the opportunity to train as a theatre company and develop the fundamental skills required to work in the performing arts industry.

We recognise that our dancers and performers intend to make a career in the arts and entertainment industries and we are committed to providing the opportunity for dancers and performers to develop their skills in our unique training environment.

The Miskin Dance and Musical Theatre Company produce projects that mirror professional training and the industry, including performing in two major productions at the Miskin Theatre open to the general public.  All productions are overseen by professional, experienced dance and musical theatre practitioners. We regularly go on theatre trips and perform in venues outside of the Miskin Theatre.

“The curriculum is designed in a highly original way and provides learners with excellent opportunities to develop their skills” Ofsted 2010.
