STCW Proficiency in Survival Craft & Rescue Boats

COURSE CERTIFICATION

 This course complies with STCW Regulation V1/2 Paragraph 1.  A certificate will be issued upon successful completion of the assessment.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

 The 5-day course is for experienced personnel.  You will be involved in a considerable amount of boat work out in the open and we recommend that you bring suitable warm clothing and safety shoes with you.  Although protective clothing is provided, you may wish to bring your own waterproofs for your personal comfort. 

COURSE REQUIREMENTS

Candidates must have a valid STCW Personal Survival Techniques Certificate (issued within the preceding 5 years).  The Centre will supply wet weather gear, students should bring suitable working gear.

You should be aware that the practical aspects of this course may be physically demanding, and that full participation is required to obtain certification.
