Local hospitality employers in and around Gravesend will have the opportunity to meet the next generation of kitchen and front-of-house talent at a special industry networking event at North Kent College in Gravesend next month.
Taking place at our The Gallery Restaurant on Monday 7 September, from 10am to 11am, the Hospitality Bridge Initiative will bring together a select group of local hospitality businesses with students preparing to take their first steps into the industry.
The one-hour event has been designed as an opportunity for employers and students to connect, exchange ideas and gain a better understanding of what the hospitality sector is looking for in its future workforce.
For local hospitality businesses, the initiative offers a chance to connect with emerging talent while helping to shape the skills and experiences students need to succeed in the sector.
Employers attending will have the chance to meet motivated students, raise awareness of their businesses and career opportunities, and network with fellow local employers and industry professionals. They will also be invited to share their views on the skills, behaviours and qualities they value most when recruiting, helping us to ensure our training continues to reflect real-world industry expectations.
