As students return to college, we are welcoming the new academic year with a fresh new look. Across our four local colleges, our new brand is bringing a renewed sense of identity as we look ahead to an exciting year of learning, growth and opportunity.
Over the summer, Dartford, Gravesend, Hadlow and Tonbridge were given a fresh new look as part of the launch of the new North Kent Colleges Group. Each college now proudly carries the NKC prefix, creating a strong, consistent identity across the Group while celebrating the unique character of each local college.
So, what does the new term look like across our four local colleges?
NKC Dartford College
Located just outside Dartford town centre, NKC Dartford College is home to a vibrant mix of courses, specialist facilities and student opportunities. From the acclaimed Miskin Theatre and Creative and Performance facilities to the £22 million Osterberg Sports Centre, students have plenty of opportunities to learn, develop and get involved.
This September, they are doing it all with a fresh new look across the college.
NKC Gravesend College
Just outside Gravesend town centre, NKC Gravesend College has a strong focus on practical, career-ready learning.
It is home to the National Maritime Training Centre, specialist construction and engineering centre, commercial training facilities, giving students the chance to develop skills in realistic working environments.
Now, the college has a new look to match its exciting new chapter.
NKC Hadlow College
In the Kent countryside, NKC Hadlow College is unlike any other college in the Group and is ranked 3rd in the country for delivering a land-based curriculum. As Kent’s only rural and land-based college, students learn across a huge range of specialist facilities, from working farms and horticultural facilities to animal units, equine facilities and fisheries.
The new branding brings a fresh look to this much-loved local college, while its rural character remains very much at the heart of what it does.
NKC Tonbridge College
In the centre of Tonbridge, NKC Tonbridge College offers a diverse range of vocational and specialist courses, with facilities including the MAC (Music and Arts Centre), The View training restaurant, creative spaces and professional hair and beauty facilities.
Students are seeing the college in a whole new light with the new NKC Tonbridge College branding now in place.
